These were shot for Tesco at their CFC distribution centre in Erith, were thousands of online orders get process, sorted and shipped every day.
Our inspirational case study was, Bernard Osei-Tutu, who started working as a cashier at Tescos at 16, and now at 34, is the head of the online orders distribution centre, managing 800 staff.
This was shot one day after he started at the centre and as we were moving from space to space he was shaking hand and chatting to the staff, many of who were meeting him for the first time. He was very calm, considering that any technical or supply fault can stop the machines and cause hours of delays catching up and thousands of lost orders.
The scale and automation of the centre was impressive, with items getting selected for orders using an automated collation system and the staff checking the final orders before they are shipped.
