Silverstone Race Track

It was quite exciting to visit Silverstone racetrack and photograph in the pit lane and on the track, even though I don’t particularly like motor racing or care that much about cars. But getting to see the pits and even get to drive around the track a bit - so that we could position the cars for the photos - was a bit of a treat!

The shot was for a car of the years advertorial for The Times, and we had to shoot 10 cars individually in the pits, working around a film crew (as usual), and make them look pretty and perfect like in my Suzuki shoot here, but in a fraction of the time.

We managed to get it all completed just in time for a dusk shot on the track.
